“Not even the power of death, fear, or darkness will win against what I am building — in the Church and in you.”

Easter Sunday
The Importance of Easter
Easter is the celebration of Christ’s resurrection—the foundation of Christian faith and the greatest victory over sin and death. It is a day of joy, renewal, and hope:
-
The tomb is empty—Jesus is alive!
-
His resurrection means we are no longer bound by sin and death.
-
It reminds us that light always overcomes darkness, and God’s promises are true.
Easter invites us to rise with Christ—to live with resurrected hearts, filled with purpose and praise.

Easter Prayer
Risen Lord,
The stone is rolled away. The grave is empty. Death is defeated. You are alive—and because of You, we can live in freedom, joy, and eternal hope.
Fill our hearts with the light of the resurrection. Help us to live as Easter people, proclaiming Your victory in our lives and loving with the power of Your Spirit.
Let today be a new beginning. Raise us up from fear, from doubt, from all that holds us back, and lead us into the fullness of life You died to give.
Hallelujah! Christ is risen!
Amen.
Easter Scripture
Matthew 28:5–6 (NIV):
“The angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.’”
