“Not even the power of death, fear, or darkness will win against what I am building — in the Church and in you.”

Saturday – A Prayer for Rest and Renewal
God of rest, thank you for this pause. Thank you for moments to breathe, to reflect, to simply be. I ask that today would be a gentle rhythm for my soul, a soft place where healing can begin and hope can grow. Restore what has been drained, refill what has been poured out. Let your presence refresh me like cool water on a tired heart. I lay down my striving and open myself to your quiet work in me. In this stillness, remind me who I am: your beloved, your cherished child. And let your peace wrap around me like a soft blanket.
Amen.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
