“Not even the power of death, fear, or darkness will win against what I am building — in the Church and in you.”

Tuesday – A Prayer for Inner Stillness
God, today I seek the stillness that only you can give. My thoughts are restless, moving from one worry to the next, and I need your calming presence to steady me. I breathe in your peace, and as I exhale, I let go of tension. Let me be present in this moment—not chasing what’s ahead or fearing what’s behind. You are in this very breath, this heartbeat, this pause. In your love, I am safe. In your nearness, I find rest. Teach me to listen more than speak, to trust more than doubt, and to settle into the quiet where your voice can be heard.
Amen.

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
